I’ve had Frances as my only attending midwife for two births now. Both births were natural homebirths. I would have thought the first to be impossible to surpass, in how peaceful and truly ideal the labor and birth went, until I had an even better experience the second time. After our first birth, my husband and I were willing to take any lengths necessary to have Frances attending our second. We even decided to move to Margate for the month of our due date to ensure that no one else would be acting as midwife for our most precious delivery.
